bir imparatorluktan geliyorum
bir imparatorun dilinde konuşuyorum
ben bir imparator değilim
ama onun sözleri benden konuşuyor
ağzım açıkken
bir imparatorluk bir aç yaratıktır
o geçmişi yiyor
biz bir imparatorluktan önce neydik?
biz ne olacağız
tek sahip olduğum bir dil
ama dil imparatora aittir
ve ne dediğimi bilmiyorum

i come from an empire
i speak in an emperor's tongue
i am not an emperor
but his words speak out of me
when my mouth is open
an empire is a hungry beast
it eats the past
what were we before we were an empire
what will we be
all i have is a tongue
but the tongue is the emperor's
and i do not know if it is mine
