okay sure,
let's talk about
~the universe~
as you describe it,
when you're talking about something a lot smaller.

1. yeah you're part of the universe
everyone is.
everything is.
sort of the definition of it.

2. and you say you're kind
consciously kind
i mean i've seen no evidence of it
but you know your own mind, yeah?

3. according to you this makes
the universe kind;
quite a big extrapolation,
doesn't meet my standards, i'm afraid

4. after all the universe is
68.2% dark energy
and we've no idea if it can make
conscious decisions about how to treat other entities.

5. but what if, you say,
what if kindness is more important
than dark energy
what if it's bigger and stronger than gravity

6. and yeah okay that sounds like a great argument
if what you mean is:
i need to be important.

nooooooooo but also yesssss but also nooooooooo dfkajf;aefljkld however, like, i think if more people fixated on Being Kind as the source of their self-importance that would not be a bad thing.

this one was in response to one very specific person who was deliberately misinterpreting "the universe" so that they could yell about themselves being kind, in a conversation that had nothing to do that. so.
